Given certain paling realities – those which seem hard to sustain – we’re given cause to question, “Where or when, really, is this going to end?”
Perhaps the question most apt is “how,” and not where or when. None of us have the faintest idea of how runaway trains will be stopped. One such runaway are these Facebook and Twitter juggernauts that seem to throw many into spasms of overload, particularly ‘Christian overload’ (which I too am adding to!).
These too will morph.
The fact is things always change, and randomly so, it would appear. Soon we’ll be asking in rather bemused ways, “Whatever happened about...?”
When it comes to overload from just too much incoming data, or any other chaotic influence threatening our sanity, we have to wonder what God’s saying. Could it be that he’s telling us to control it for ourselves—that we would need to be that change that controls what comes into our worlds?
