We might not readily distinguish link between ear and mouth—the physical vestiges of communication—but we should. There are still too few people who listen as they should, and that will always be the case.
But, that’s not for us; we know better.
We know that we cannot expect others to listen to us if we don’t listen to them.
Besides, how much more blessed is it to simply listen at peace than to be under pressure to speak the right words—those etched in truth?
To be known as a listener is our cherished goal; to be a rare activator of this Divine task of care.
That is our challenge today... to leave behind what noise resounds within the chambers of our minds and hearts and open the doors of communication for others to step with poise into us, sharing their confidences with assurance of integrity.
